Training and Certification

Pettit Environmental employs technicians who are trained in accordance with OSHA regulations: 1910.120 - Hazardous Waste Site Worker, and 1926.62 – Lead Worker and 1910.146 – Confined Space and Rescue.  Our Operations Managers are also STS (Safety Training Specialist) and SPS (Safety Planning Specialist) certified by the National Association of Safety Professionals. 

Subcontract Submittal Capabilities

Pettit Environmental is capable of providing first class Submittals such as Chemical Data Acquisition Plans (CDAP); Safety, Health and Emergency Response Plans (SHERPS); Site Safety and Health Plans (SSHP); Activity Hazard Analysis Plans (AHA); and Certified Payrolls typically required by Government agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Energy, and Department of Defense.
